The high gloss natural maple cabinets just didn't fit the rustic feeling of this charming cabin. After removing the face frames and doors and drawers they were distressed to match the hand hewn logs and replaced. End panels were cut and treated the same and used to covered the island and all cabinet sides. These pictures don't capture the rough texture that was achieved in the distressing process.
